It is a great product. The mouse does not work great on all games as it does on a pc. But that is a fault of the game itself and not the max shooter. My only complaint is the lack of instructions, It took three hours to learn how to program and tweak my controls. Those instructions came from what little info in the box and good old youtube.

The main purpose of this item is to use your PS3 controller similar to a keyboard and mouse setting with a PC. The Maxshooter does well mapping keyboard keys easily and conveniently. The mouse aspect however is terrible. You will NOT be able to control your mouse as smoothly and freely as you would on your PC, no matter how you tweak the settings. If you want to be able to play first person shooters (which is probably why you're looking at this item) and move your cursor with a flick of the wrist, this product WILL NOT allow you to do it. There is a unresponsive positional lag with each movement. This is most likely due to the control system difference between a regular PS3 controller and mouse. Hopefully one day, microsoft or any other company will come up with the appropriate technology to breach this difference. IF you want to play your PS3 game with just a keyboard remapping, this item will work great.

Works pretty good with a standard optical mouse from Walmart. You have to adjust the x and y parameters for each game. I use mine with a PS3 controller and a mouse; not with the mouse and a keyboard. You have to run the PS3 console first... and wait for the MayFlash to get booted up, before you put the game disk in the console.
